Afrondingsopdracht
Italie, Vicenza – Nederland, Breda

My partner is Sara Lagioni she lives at dueVille
is a fan of Twilight (book),
likes (food, hobby, sport, other activities) pizza, skating and music.
Has special interest: in culture.
Has the following character: sweet, funny, friendly and sometimes shy.
Wants to study medicines  or become a doctor.
I like her because of her kindness and she’s such a good friend.
A bad quality is: She’s sometimes to shy.

The different between the exchange in Italy and in the Netherlands was for her that here in Holland we didn’t have that much time to spend with the family. That was to bad, she said.

She saw some students clean the floor in the hall, so she thought: “Why are they cleaning?” She thought it was strange, because normally a concierge does that work.
About the building, she liked our big hall. She also liked the tables in de corners, because in Italy they don’t have such things.

On Wednesday evening we watched a movie at Maddy’s place; Sex in the City. It was a nice movie, she said and the evening was funny and nice, because she was with her Italian friends and she liked Maddy and Chantal.

* Hoe heb je het Nederlandse familieleven ervaren?
Comfortable. She felt like she was at home. She said my parents were very friendly and kind, so she felt like one of my family.

First of all, the early dinner. She didn’t like it at all, but she has to eat with us. She thinks Italian food is the best, but Dutch food isn’t killing you. She was glad she could try it, but I don’t think she will eat is ever again.

* Wat is je indruk van Amsterdam?
The city is beautiful. She liked the tour through Amsterdam and to make pictures of special things. But in the museum, she would liked to have a guide, who could tell us more about the art and the painter.

* Hoe heb je Rotterdam ervaren?
The program was good, even thought there wasn’t a guide. She liked the harbor and the walk with the map, like she always said to me. But, she likes Amsterdam more.

She likes Monday the most, because she thought Amsterdam is a great city and she laughs a lot that day.

It was possible that she couldn’t understand everything what I was saying to her, but she did a great job. That’s what she said to me, and I’m really proud of her because sometimes she was scared that she said something wrong.

Being on time! That’s the first thing she said. She wasn’t used to a “plan” to get on time somewhere. Also the kindness of the Dutch people and there way of taking care of her.

* Heb je nieuwe ideeën over Nederland gekregen?
She didn’t thought that we used our bikes that much, she was ‘shocked’. But fortunately, she could ride a bike.

She told me she didn’t really have thoughts about our country.

To get up early, I don’t know why she said that. She wasn’t used to it, non of them were.

* Wat vind je niet leuk aan Nederland?
The temperature and the weather. But also to ride to fast on a bike, because she couldn’t do that as fast as I can.

She really loved the program, she was very happy with it. She enjoyed it here, with the help of the Dutch students, she said, because they were really nice.

* Wat zou je veranderen, verbeteren?
For the next exchange she would like to have more information about the city we’re going to visit. And she also thought it was to bad that we didn’t visit the Anne Frank house. She would love to see that someday.

Good, nice and funny week. She really enjoyed it here. The relationship with me, my family and my friends. She said also: “I would love to come back, or stay a little bit longer.”

I'm gonna miss them so much, all of them. It's to bad that they live to far from here, because if they were nere to us, I probably will go to them every holiday to see them.
We had good times, and we had bad times.
But remember: Where ever you are, I am always by your side.

(At the moment, I don't have a picture of our two. But when she send them to me, I will drop them here...)
