About my partner:

 

My partner is Alessandra Zaratonello, she lives at Povolaro,Vias Vito 33,36030. It is a small village in the neighbourhood of Vicenza.

 She is a fan of V2. It is a very nice band.

She likes Pasticcio,pizza,playing volleyball with her team, singing,walking,shopping,going out with friends and at least singing.

She has special interest in volleyball,friends,music and singing.

She likes Rock,top40 music.

She has the following character: She is very sweet and nice. She is also very funny and sympatic.

She wants to study architecture or become an architect.

I like her because she is very friendly to me and she also very funny. I like the way she is!

A bad quality is that she's always confused and sometimes she's angry because of stupid things. But that is her opinion. I think she don't have a very bad quality!

 

 

Some questions to Alessandra:

 

What was for you the difference between the week in Italy and the week in the Netherlands?

There were a lot of bikes in Holland. And we also need to cylce to school and I only go by bus in Italy. So, I was a little bit tired, because we need to cycle 20 minutes. Here in Holland they have a bycicle path and we don't have that in Italy. So the streets looked strange with it. Also the food was very different. We don't eat a lot of potatoes at home and here you almost eat it every day.

 

What is you're opinion about the school you have visited?

It was a very beautiful school and you it is easy to find the classrooms. It was also very big, but I think our school it a little bit bigger. So, at my school it is very difficult to find the classrooms. But I liked your scho

 

Which activities have done you outside the programme? And did you enjoy it?

 

So, at Saterday evening we went to "de Vulling" with the hole group and I like it a lot. All of the Italian people were there, so we laugh and talk a lot with each other and I drink for the first time white wine. The next day(Sunday) we went to the Efteling. It was very funny there and I like the attractions a lot. Especially "de Piranja" because we laugh a lot in it and I almost fell into the water. It was a very beautiful day, but only the weather was very bad! But I enjoy it. Hmm... at Monday we stay at home. The next day(Tuesday) we went again to "de Vulling". It was a little bit the same like Saturday. At 12 o'clock the parents of Chantal take us home. Wednesday we went to Maddy's house,because they ask us to come and watch a movie. It was a very nice movie. It was called "Sex and the city". I like it a lot, because also the match of Maddy (Chiara) and Arlette and Sarah were there. It was a nice evening. The next day it was the farewellparty. After that party everybody was going to the city again. First at "de Vulling" and then we go to orange. And again I like it a lot, because I want to dance and there was good music and we dance a lot with all the people.

 

How do you have experience the dutch families?

I think they are very crazy, but only you're familie. Because I only meet you're familie. But I think they are very friendly and they are very happy that we stayed with all the Italian people here in the Netherlands.

 

 

 How was the food in the Netherlands?

The food was very good. I liked it a lot and it tastes good! We don't have things the same in Italy, just only the potatoes we also have and the chips. But that's all. I really like the "nasi" , because it tastes also very good.

 

What was your first impression about Amsterdam?

My first impression was that I think there are very old buildings and also that it is very big in Amsterdam.

 

Did you like it to go to rotterdam? And how was you're experience there?

Yes, I liked it a lot and I saw very different things between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, because Amsterdam has a lot of old buildings and in Rotterdam it is a little bit more modern. I like the Harbor a lot, because it was very big and beautiful to see. The boattrip was very nice, It was very beautiful to go on the water and watch hole Rotterdam. I learn a lot about it and the streets are very nice to see. There are also a lot of shops to buy some souvenirs and food.

 

What was the most beautiful thing of this week ?

The boattrip in Rotterdam, because it was very very beautiful to see and to be on the boat.

 

 

How was the communication in English with the dutch people?

It was very funny, because when we don't know the word or how to say it. We depict it with our hands or our body. It very funny to see it and we laugh a lot about some words that we can't say. It also learn a lot to speak it a hole week and I like it.

 

What was for you the most important thing here in the Netherlands?

I don't have a important thing here in the Netherlands, but there are things that I like. So, I like stairs, because there are a lot of stairs everywere.. and i found it very funny. I also like the garden with the fish in the pond. We don't have it in Italy, so it was very nice to see it here in Holland. I don't like the scooters on the bicycle path, because they are driving very hard and it is a little bit scared when you cycle there.

 

Do you have new idea's of the Netherlands?

Not really, but now I know the food of the Netherlands and I also know Rotterdam and Amsterdam now. And I want to see Amsterdam so I'm very happy now! Also now I know that you also have a party called Carnaval. We also have it so it is a little bit the same. I don't have other idea's about it I think.

 

What kind of idea did you had before you came in Holland?

I don't know anything about the Netherlands. I only know that Amsterdam is very big and that Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands. But that was it. Now I have a lot of information in my head about everything in the Netherlands and I want to come back!!

 

What do you think about the dutch people before we came to Italy?

I thought that you were a little bit crazy, because I spoke to you on MSN and you always wear short shirts when I saw you on the webcam. And It was a bit cold here so it was strange to see.

 

What is differtent between the Dutch families and the Italian families?

I think that the parents are not very rigorous, because a lot of people can go out at the time they want. And in Italy the parents of the children are very rigorous. So, they can't go out. I think the young people here have a lot of freedom to go out. And the young people are also have more responsibility.

 

What don't you like here in the Netherlands?

I think it is de rain. Because Sunday in the efteling the weather wasn't very good and that's why we all were wet. And that was not very nice! But the other days were good!

 

What's you're opinion about the programme this week?

My opinion is that is was a very nice week and I like the programme a lot. We do nice things and we laugh a lot. So don't change anything! And I hope the Dutch people also like the programme!

 

 

 

What do you want to change of the programme?

Nothing! It was a very good programme!

 

 

When you came at home.. What do you tell to you're parents and friends about this week? How do you describe it to them?

I said to my parents and friends that I like it a lot and that we had a lot of fun. I also say that it was very nice with you're familie and that also the house was very good. I'm going to tell them that I had my own room and that I sleep well every night in your bed! But it is very different in the Netherlands because there are a lot of bikes. But I want to come back to you and then I can see more of the Netherlands, because I like the country and then I can see you again! And we can have a lot of fun!!

 

 

My opinion

I think it was a very nice week and we laugh a lot! My English wasn't very good, but she understand me all the time! The programme was very nice and I liked it a lot! Amsterdam and Rotterdam were very beautiful and I liked it to make a boattrip in Rotterdam. I don't do that always.. So, It was a great experience. I hope they will come back and then we have again a lot of fun with them! I think I am gonna miss them a lot! Thank you for the nice week!
