My partner is Linda Brunelli, she lives at Vicenza.

She is a fan of the band : Green Day.

Her favourite food is Pizza, her sport is Tennis and her hobby is staying with friends.

Linda has special interests in Tennis. She likes is very much.

She's a optimistic girl and I think she's very nice and helpfull.

When I asked her what she wants to do after this school, she really doesn't know an answer, so

my apologizes to you, but can't answer this question. 

A bad quality of Linda is that sometimes she talks a lot, and other times, she really doesn't know

Wat was voor jou het verschil tussen de week in Italië en die in Nederland?

What do you think about the difference between the week in Italy and the week in Holland ?

In Holland there were more activities in the evening, with a big group of Italian and Dutch people.

Also in Holland there were more realxing times, so, more free time we could walk and shop.

 

Wat  is je mening over de school die je bezocht hebt?

What's your opinion about the Newman College ?

It's a great school, I think it's not very big, but I couldn't find 1 classroom.

A strange thing, the schoolbord, the green one, you can pull it op or down and I've never seen something like that.

 

Welke activiteiten heb je buiten het programma gedaan en hoe beviel dat?

What activities did you do next to the schoolprogram ? And what's your opinion about those?

We always had to do something, going to a restaurant, or stay with someone. And that was very nice.

Monday evening, we stayed with Loesje, we ate there, and after that we went outside. We walked around to check the neighbourhood, That was very nice because

we really were 1 group, and not Italian and Dutch people apart.

 

Hoe heb je het Nederlandse familieleven ervaren?

What do you think about the Dutch families ?

They're very nice, helpfull and great people. You can have everything you want and I could do everything I wanted.

Also I think they have a good relationship. I don't know what else to say..

 

Wat is je oordeel over het Nederlandse eten?

What do you think about the dutch food ?

It's sooooo different of the Italian food. But there was nothing I didn't recognized. Only one thing. The croquet.

I didn't know it, and yesterday I ate one. It was very nice and that's how I think about all the dutch food.

 

Hoe zou jij het verschil tussen Nederland en Italië uitleggen?

How would you explain the difference between Italy and Holland ?

Italy has a lot of mountains, and Holland totally not. Also the houses are different from the houses in Italy.

In Italy some busses are very busy with people, but in Holland there are not so much people in one bus.

 

Wat is je indruk van Amsterdam?

What do you think about Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is a very big cith with a lot of Coffee Shops. a lot of great streets, and a lot of shops !!

Also the red light destricts are impressive. So much prostitutes and some of an age of 19 or something. unbelievable. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe.

It was nice and I bought a shirt and something to put on my bag. It's also an expensive city I think. A lot of different people. Some positive, some negative.

 

Hoe heb je Rotterdam ervaren?

What do you think about Rotterdam?

Also a nice city with some famous people. nice shops, and a beautiful city too. The trip by boat was wonderful.

So much things we saw and a great harbor. So for one day it's a nice city !

 

Wat was het mooiste onderdeel van de week?

What's the most beautiful thing you saw or you did this week?

Amsterdam is the most beautiful thing I saw. It's such a big city with soooo much shops and different people.

'the only thing was, my legs were dead. We had to walk so much that I had got pain in my legs and feet. but when our free time was beginning. It was perfect. Just do your own thing in a big beautiful city !!

 

Hoe ging het communiceren in het Engels met de Nederlanders?

How was the communicating with the Dutch people in english ?

On the beginning it was horrible. We had the summer holiday, and I hadn't talk English the whole time. So it was difficult to speak English again, but after a little time it was just normal. So I could communicate well, and if I didn't know a word, I just used body language.

 

Wat zijn volgens jou de belangrijkste kenmerken van de Nederlanders die je hebt meegemaakt?

What do you see as typical 'dutch people' things?

I don't have special things to say about dutch people, they're just normal in my opinion. The only thing I can consider, is that Dutch people do a lot with their bikes. I also go by bike sometimes, but just for small distances. Also the dutch people, especially de girls, are smoking more than the Italian girls.

 

Heb je nieuwe ideeën over Nederland gekregen?

Have you got any new Ideas about Holland?

I actually didn't have some Ideas about Holland so nothing can be changed..

 

Wat was je idee over het land voordat je hier kwam?

What did you think about this country before this week?

Holland doesn't have mountains. and a lot of different houses than in Italy. Also the streets are different. In Italy there are more big streets, and in Holland there are a lot of little streets with houses. I didn't know that. Also the weather is more bad than in Italy.

 

Heb/Had je vooroordelen over Nederlanders die veranderd zijn?

Did you have any thoughts about Dutch people who changed ?

No I didn't think a lot of the Dutch people. I learned never think things when you're not sure you're right so..

 

Wat vind je niet leuk aan Nederland?

What didn't you like in Holland ?

THE WEATHERR !! It's so cold in Holland, especially in the morning. And sunday, we had a lot of rain we were very wet.

 

Wat is je mening over het programma van deze week?

What's your opinion about the program this week?

I think it was a good program, only if I may say, I would like to spend more free time, in Amsterdam we did walk a lot, but there was no goal, so we better could use that time to buy things in shops, so spend time with SHOPPINGG !!!

 

Wat zou je veranderen, verbeteren?

What would you like to change if you'll get a chance to repeat this week?

Just what I said before, more freetime ! uh, that's it, I enjoyed this week and I want to do it the way it was now !

 

Hoe zou je die afgelopen week tegenover je vrienden en familie beschrijven als je weer thuis bent? 

How would you describe this week to your parents or friends in Italy ?

I met great people; parents and other Dutch people. Holland is a country with a bad climate but very nice cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam ! I would tell them I really enjoyed, and I'm looking forward to come back to Holland !!

 

 

 

My opinion [romy] :

 

I really enjoyed this week seriously, the 'relationship' between Linda and me was so much better than in Italy. She was very nice, and that stimulated me to give her a great week and be nice to her too. I'm very glad I could make this through ! I have a better band with more of the Italian  people. Fransesca, she was very nice, an Italian girl I met on monday ! I could laugh with her so good and she was so funny I'm going to miss her..

Linda was very grateful to my parents what they did for her. I really respected that ! And I will keep in touch with her for sure ! I want to thank all  the Italian people for this week. I will not forget it and forget you !
