Wat was voor jou het verschil tussen de week in Italië en die in Nederland?
The difference between those two weeks were the times of the program, the Dutch program was later.

Here, this family stays much time all together. In the morning with breakfast and in the evening watching television or doing something else.
Mijn mening/my opinion (tom):
I think I learned much about the Italian culture this week. It was also a bit different as the exchange in Italy. In Italy the Dutch people were really close to their Italian partner, because they don’t want to get lost. I thought it would be the same her.
That was a great mistake. Most of the time you don’t see your Italian partner, they get a city map and do anything by their own, without any Dutch person. That was a bit strange for me because I had almost never contact with Alberto at school, because he ignores me a bit. That was really frustrating. He only talks to me when I ask him something.
I have seen such things also with other Dutch students, their where some people who said they hate their Italian partner. Also I big cities they were a problem, you can’t normal walk with them, because they are to slow. I was one of the people who didn’t let the Italian people alone, but most of us just go and didn’t look to their Italian partner. I didn’t liked that to.
But there were also some Italian people who were funny. Some of them really want to learn some Dutch words, but no Dutch person wants to learn Italian. It’s just like the song they sang at the goodbye evening. That was absolutely great. Even their teachers sang. I don’t think anyone of them knows the whole translation of that song.
