A short description of my Italian partner:

My partner is Francesca Trombetta; she lives at Corso Padova 70, Vincenza. She is a fan of Queen, all kinds of TV-series and Ethan Hawke. Francesca likes pizza, volleyball, tennis, skiing, playing the piano, listening to music, watching movies and going out with friends. She has a special interest in music. She is also very kind and funny and she’s a good friend. She wants to study languages, journalism or history and she wants to become a movie star or a journalist. I like her because she’s funny and I can laugh a lot with her and she also wants to help when you need it. But a bad quality is that she’s always late.

The questions:

I liked both family’s I think it’s better than mine (just joking) but I also think that the Dutch people have a better family life because the Italian people go out more.

I think it was really good! Especially the stroopwafels, hagelslag and the boerenkoolstamppot. I bought a lot of food to bring home with me.

I think it is a beautiful big city! I love to shop there, but I thin k the walk we had to do was a little to long!

I think they are kind, funny and I love them (especially the handsome guys). I think I will come back sometime. But I also think that they are very strict.

Not really but I thought that lost of Dutch people were taking drugs, but that isn’t the truth.

I thought the weather was worse and there would be more drugs etc. but it wasn’t like that.

I think the Dutch people have more family life. The Italian people go out more and are less at home.

14. Did you have prejudices of the Dutch people before you came here?

No not really but I thought they where closed and did not show much of themselves.

15. What didn’t you like about Holland?

There are too many rules like no drinking or smoking before you are 16. I thought there would be more freedom

I think they think I’m a bit quiet but also very crazy!

What do you think of the Dutch language?

I love it! I can read almost every sentence on this page. I think that is because it is quit similar to the German language.
